Duck Web Design - About

On the rest of the site, I'm pretty casual, but this page requires something a little more formal so, on this page only, I'll refer to myself in the third person.

Nancy Bennett graduated from the University of Oregon in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. (For those of you who do not know, the University of Oregon colors are green and gold and their mascot is a duck.) In the last few years, Nancy has also completed several classes on all aspects of web design.

Prior to founding Duck Web Design, Nancy Bennett had five years experience in sales promotion with a major retailer. She is a member of the International Webmaster's Association - HTML Writer's Guild (IWA-HWG). Nancy designed her first site in 1998 and enjoyed the experience immensely. She began seriously designing web sites in 2005 and established her business the following year.

Nancy Bennett is a volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands. She and her Little Sister have been matched for over five years. The two of them volunteer together regularly at the Friends of Falmouth Dogs.
